A word from Winnie the Pooh…

Is there a better role model in literature than Winnie the Pooh?  I mean, honestly?  He has his priorities:  those he loves, the places he loves, and of course, the food he loves!   He knows his place in the world, and he’s completely secure with it.  He understands the beauty of simplicity and imagination.  He has a sense of the ridiculous, but he’s too sincere and genuine to know it.  And he can speak the truth in the simplest, most endearing ways.  I just love Pooh Bear.  And so, I thought it fitting to begin this blog with one of my all-time favorite “Pooh” quotes.

“Don’t underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering.”
